Rosie left me a note saying that I always had something interesting to write about, and that made me smile.. See: =). Anyway, so I was thinking about that and I figured, I do have a pretty interesting life (for example, i've had two different parties in two days this weekend!) So I thought i'd make this:
Corinne's guide to being an interesting person who leads an interesting life that they can then type up on their diaries. =).
Okay.
AT SCHOOL.
1) Try not to be too popular, because then most of your diary entries will be about smoking and buzzin' etc.
2) Be random and spontaneous, get into weird conversations and situations with people. Or make up crazy little songs on the spot.
3) Don't try to confine yourself to one group of friends or cliche. That way you have more freedom and more things will happen.
4) Don't be a bitch! People don't like bitches. People don't invite bitches to parties!
5) Find a group of friends with the same sort of musical taste as you (not exactly the same of course, geez.) That way you'll almost always have someone who will accompany you to a gig!
AT HOME
1) Be so weird and random that your parents get used to it and no longer question anything that you do. For example, watching Pokemon for 7 straight hours.
2) Get an assortment of amusing pets. Pick out the pets that are doing the stupid things, or just look plain dopey, they're always good for a laugh.
3) Create a dream journal for your weirdest and most vivid dreams, that way you won't forget them when it comes to writing up your diary!
4) Make strange concoctions of food in your kitchen, either ones that turn out lovely and leave you wishing you'd written down the recipe, or ones that make you want to hurl =).
5) Know EXACTLY what it is you have to do around the house to get your own way, washing or cleaning or whatever!
AT GIGS
1) Go as early as you can, to either get to the front of the queue or to spot the band wandering around.
2) If you see the band, be cool but don't just let them walk by! If you know their name, call them and give them a wave =) or have a chat with them if they're close by. If not, just say "Hey!" or something along those lines =).
3) If you don't see the band, get as close to the front as possible then try to get their attention whilst onstage - you might get a wave or a wink, you never know!
4) If you're not too bothered about seeing the band, and want to sit down at the back, go there and chat to some people around you - you never know who you're going to meet.
5) Keep your eyes peeled for anyone else you recognise that isn't in the band you're going to see. Loads of different "celebrities" go to the same gigs as you!
Sooo there you go, brilliant!
Anyway, I can't be bothered to write much more. Me and Jamie are almost finished with the Social Suicide video, but it's his birthday tomorrow so it's on hold until Tuesday =). I'll be sure to post a link to it when it's finished, and i'll put up an entry with what The Zico Chain think of it too - hopefully they'll like it!
Peace, Love and Penguins. xx
