I went to Brighton yesterday with Jamie, my mom and Danny. It was kinda fun. I started off in the car listening to music (American Idiot) then I listened to Shenanigans and then I persuaded my mom to put on The Network, that was fun to sing along to. As we reached Brighton we were listening to HIM and we blasted out the carpark as we parked. We freaked out some guy too by driving along next to him really slowly.
The first thing we did was run down to the sea next to the old pier (which is nearly all gone now - it's kinda sad) and play that game were you stand where the waves are coming in and see how long you can stay there before you run away. My mom fell over, hahaha.
We went to the Pavillion and meet up with my sister Lori, and her boyfriend Chris. (Who's a bumface and hit me with his gloves!! Ahaha, not really - I love him to bits) .. (Not in that way mind you.) Then we went to look around the shops in The Lanes. We saw the 118 guys there (you know, the ones from the advert!) They were giving out free T-Shirts and stuff.
After a while of walking round there we all decided we were getting kinda hungry so we went to my favourite restaurant in Brighton - Wai Kika Moo Kau! It's this gorgeous little vegetarian cafe! Me, Jamie and Lori had the Vegan Chilli (Oh, Chris had gone to buy an IPod) and my mom had this fallafel (sp?) salad with couscous.
Then after that we went to Virgin Megastores and I found all these really cool CDs for £5 so I bought Radiohead's 'My Iron Lung' (Which has Lewis (Mistreated) on it!! My favourite Radiohead song EVER!!) and The Cure's 'The Cure' which is boodiful. Me and Jamie found Series One and Two of The Mighty Boosh as well, but we didn't have enough money to buy it and my mom wouldn't lend me any. Then Jamie bought me The Ramones 'Chrysalis' which we worked out has 84 songs on it!!
After that Chris met up with us again (he hadn't bought the IPod) then we went to the cashpoint and it was right near the shop that me and Jamie kept going in with the crazy guy that yelled at people in it. So we went to find it and the guy who looked like Woody was there, but when we inquired about "That crazy guy who'd stand outside and yell at people" (He was like "OH! You mean Keith!) we found out that apparently he'd either quit or been fired.
We went to this really posh french place for coffee (I ended up having a glass of water .. And a cheese platter!!) It was really nice there, even with Danny's grumpy moldy face. (It's because his girlfriend broke up with him.. Maybe he split up her parents too) Then Lori and Chris had to go so we went and got some fish and chips and ate them in the car.
One the way home I listened to Radiohead for a bit, and then I put on 1,039/Smooth but I fell asleep. Then when I woke up Jamie and Danny the fart were asleep so I persuaded my mom to put on The Cure and we listened to that until we got home.
