Every Day Of My Life
11:05 a.m. -- 2005-10-31

Okay, so I haven't managed to update for a while, and right now i'm supposed to be designing a logo for a Green Day fan base, but what the hell. ICT sucks.

Today is Monday (Halloweeeeen!!!) and last Friday I had the day off school because I was going to London with Nix and Saskia to see the one and only James Marsters! If you've been reading my diary before - you'll know that i've seen him play in his band, Ghost Of The Robot, and the amazing experiences I had at that gig.

Well, that was NOTHING compared to this time!!

I stayed in bed until 9 on Friday, but then I knew I had to get up because my mom needed her prescription taking to the doctors and it was like a 15 minute walk... and Nix was coming round to mine at 11:30. So at 10, hehe, I walked up to the doctors and had a nice conversation with Benji which is cool. I haven't spoken to him for a while. Then Nix came round and we got the bus to town.

When we got into town we got a cheeseburger from MacDonalds and then suddenly realised we didn't know the way to the train station - but there are signs everywhere so it's okay! Saskia was already at the train station so we only had to wait about half an hour before getting our train.

The train journey was about an hour long, but it went by really quickly, and soon we were in London. We met up with Nicola's dad who got us a taxi, and then we were off to St. James Church!!

Blah blah blah queuing was boring, but not too bad. Loads of people asked us what we were queuing for, it got rather annoying! Blah blah blah..

THEN we started moving and went into the church, we had balconey seats so we legged it upstairs and discovered that the seats just above the stage at the front were empty, so I tore across the balconey and claimed them! Some girls sat next to us and we got talking to them, they were really nice, and some people on the balconey opposite us had a Spike doll and an Angel doll, and they sat them on the edge of their balconey, t'was funny.

There was only one support, his name was Al Britton - he was kinda like James Blunt, not a very good singer though. He had all these harmonica's on stage in little boxes that looked like Mars Bars, so we were all laughing about that.

When he'd gone off, we noticed that the Spike Doll and the Angel doll looked like they were holding hands, and we had some spare paper so we made a sign saying 'Why are they (the dolls) holding hands?' but they couldn't read it properly so Saskia yelled across the church "WHY ARE THE DOLLS HOLDING HANDS?!" And they started laughing and moved them apart.

Then JAMES MARSTERS came on in all his glory! He has dark brown hair now and it was kinda longish at the front! He's such a good singer, and we kept trying to get his attention because we had brought the legendary Mr. Radish along to give to him. There are only 2 Mr. Radishes, mine and Nicola's. Nicola vowed that one day she would give Mr. Radish to James Marsters. So we'd brought him along and attached a note to him.

In between one of the songs he STILL hadn't noticed us waving a radish frantically at him. So Saskia yelled "JAMES WE HAVE A PRESENT FOR YOU!" Just as it went quiet, and he looked up at us, and I was holding Mr. Radish, so I held it out and he looked confused but then he smiled and held out his hands to catch it.

I was SHAKING so bad, but I stood up a little bit and tossed it casually to him, and he caught it and smiled at us, then he kissed it and said "I'll read it (the note) later"

And we DIED.

Then we sat for about half an hour saying "OH MY GOD! JAMES MARSTERS HAS MR. RADISH!" And we got loads of pictures of Mr. Radish on stage next to him. Hehe.

Then all of a sudden he played Angel!! Angel is my FAVOURITE Ghost Of The Robot song, so I was melting with pure delight, and then he bent down to fiddle with the wires on his guitar, and I yelled "Don't forget Mr. Radish!" and he started laughing and looked up at me... *Sigh*...

It was just... The rest of the night was a blur, because it was so amazing. In the taxi on the way back to the train station, we saw Wednesday 13 walking along the road, lol. That would mean a lot if I actually LIKED Wednesday 13.

Happy Halloween!
