Fucking hell.
Last night was so cool. He noticed us loads! Literally! On the drive down I think I bugged everyone by constantly playing Linkin Park, over and over. We got lost twice, lol, then the queue was huge so we were like "Shit." It went round 2 corners, lmao then halfway down this road.
But we started queuing and bugged everyone around us there, but playing pretend acoustic guitars and singing, "Someone's queuing, kum by yaaa, someone's queuing, kum by yaaa, someone's queuing, kum by yaaa, oh lord, kum by yaaa!" It was really funny.
Then we moved up a bit, and Nicola suddenly went. "Fucking hell, Corinne!" - She was looking up at this window, and James Marsters (Spike from Buffy the vampire slayer - also, lead singer of Ghost of the Robot) was looking out at the queue. So we were waving at him, (We were the only people that spotted him O.o) The first time he saw us waving, he kinda ducked behind one of the curtains, then he peeked out again and we were still waving, so he waved back!! Then Nix was all "OOOHH MYYYYY GOOOOODDDDDD!!!" Lmao. It rocked.
(This is all still in the queue, lol) We moved up a bit, and then I noticed Charlie (Really cool guitarist from GotR) was filming the queue from the roof, so when it got to me, I waved - Nix ducked and Hope was just like "Wha?" So I hope James see's that cause it's got me waving on it ^_^
Then aaaanyway, we finally got inside, and we immediately ran to the pit. Not many people were there, so we got a really good place - only about 4 rows back, the view was amazing. Then me, Hope and Nix ran off to get souvenirs, lmao. And the concert started, woo!
Lazy Eye came on first - they fucking rocked!! One of the guitarists looked like Dominic Monaghan - but as Merry, it was wicked. Everyone was dancing, not really moshing, but not really preppy dancing. We were just moving with the music, lol.
Then Ghost of the Robot came on, and everybody went MAD! Everyone was screaming and jumping up and down. They did well good songs, that were so easy to mosh to - so we did what came naturally. WE ROCKED OUT!!!
The best part came, when James suddenly pointed at me, Nix and Hope and went "Hey, check out those mini dudes who've been moshing all night!" And I was going "WOOOOOOOO!" lol, and doing the mosh sign, and he laughed at me, and was really really cute!! ^_^.
Then everyone was screaming "James! James!" and all of a sudden all you heard was me screaming, "STEVE!!!!" Lmao - Steve is the lead guitarist, he reminds me of Phoenix soooo much. I like him ^_^ So I was screaming his name, and I think it was Charlie, said something to him, and he smiled really cutely and went, "Yeah, I hear it!" It was sooooo sweet!!!
Then afterwards (After David Letterman, and everyone was gasping, cause everyone just moshed so hard on that song, lol) Me, Nix n Hope started up the chant, "TAKE YOUR SHIRT OFF!" Then everything went quiet, and I screamed. "TAKE YOUR SHIRT OFF JAMES!" And he burst out laughing and went, "Maybe I should rip it off!" Everyone screamed. So loudly. It was deafening. o.o.
But, like all good things, It had to end. We were gonna wait behind and get him to sign our tickets, but we decided against it, seeing as he noticed us enough before and during the concert ^_^. Me and Nix downed a whole bottle of water each when we got back to the car. And We went through Hybrid Theory twice, and Meteora twice on the way home.
I'd definately go see Ghost of the Robot again, and hopefully Lazy Eye will be able to release a record, cause they were really really good.
Zoe - Being in a pit, is so so painful. Lmao, and in the Evanescence one...We're gonna die. O.o, lmao, But it'll be worth it. Evanescence next week!!
