AHHHH! LONG ENTRY TODAY CAUSE HERE IS THE STORY OF THE LINKIN PARK EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
kay, well, We went home at lunchtime to get ready and we had pizza and stuff. Then we set off and we started playing Hybrid Theory - then Reanimation - Then Meteora, Then we put on Junior Senior and started looking out the windows, taking the piss out of other people, lol. (This weird guy in a Manchester lorry kept perving on us O.o)
Then we finally got to the M.E.N Arena, and we ran to the queue (They opened the doors at half six, and it was only 5:05!) So we were really really close to the front of the queue (In fact i think we were in the top 15) Then after waiting for ageZ, the line started moving and we had to be searched before we were allowed in.
Then we got in and i immediately bought a programme, lol -then we got a hotdog and made our ways to our seats. We had a pretty good view!! then me, Zeddy and Lauren ran back to the shop to buy some Linkin Park stuff, (I got a beanie and a black Meteora T-shirt) Then we ran back - sat down and all the lights dimmed and 'Kinesis' came on. They were pretty good!!!
Then they went off and we had to wait for a bit whilst they set up the stage - Then The Lost Prophets came on and they rocked!! Everyone started screaming at them to do "Burn Burn" and they did - and we got a vid of it on ZeddyZ phone!! =D (Plus loadZ of piccieZ on the zoom camera!)
Then they went off - and everyone started screaming cause we realised that Brad and Joe had just walked on and started testing all the guitars and equipment. Then the lightZ dimmed and everyone went psycho cause you could hear Chester and Mike trying to be really quiet but practise at the same time - and this massive mexican wave started all the way around the arena - lol!!
Then the lights came up and they shot straight into an awesome version of Papercut!! You don't know how cool it is, to scream along with your favourite band and have like, 3000 people screaming along with you! Then me, Zeddy and Lauren stood up and started moshing - even though we were in the balcony - no one was standing up with us until the next song (Points of authority) I looked round and most of the people were moshing with us - WE STARTED OUR OWN MOSH PIT!!!
The Mike started talking and was all "Hey, let's play a little game" (We got that on film, lol) Then he goeZ "I'm gonna say a verse, and I wanna see how many of you guyZ recognise it" Then he did and everyone was standing there like 'why does this sound so familiar?' then we realised it was 'It's going down'
Then Mike goeZ "Alright! When I say 'It's Going' you guys say 'Down!" Then he said "It's going!" And everyone in the arena SCREAMED "DOWN!" Mike looked at Chester really surprised!! lol
They were doing awesome songZ!! Then I started screaming "DO MY DECEMBER! THE REANIMATED VERSION!" Then the lights dimmed and Chester started singing My December!!!! IT WAS SOO COOOOL!! And all the lights went down so there was only dim oneZ on the stage, and everyone had lighters out and were swaying, it was amazing!! They did faint and everyone was screaming along to it.
Then they did Crawling, and Chester held the mic towardZ the audience on the chorus, and absolutely everyone was screaming it!! Then on From The Inside, they stopped before the last chorus to say something - but everyone carried on singing!! It was so funny!!
It was a great night - they're so cool!! Chester is fit, so is Mike - and Rob - in fact, they all are!! AN CHESTER KEPT LOOKING UP AT THE BALCONY WE WERE ON!!!!! =D=D=D!!!!!!!!
We were really tired on the way back - we didn't get back home until about 1:30 AM, then we started watching Red Dwarf O.o
Anyway - Linkin Park seriously rule - and next time we go, we won't need to start our own mosh pit - we'll be IN the mosh pit!!! =D
